Aleena Zafar Saroya – Pharmacovigilance Manager
Aleena recently joined Colonis, bringing over 6 years’ experience in pharmacovigilance (PV) across both service provider and MAH environments. At Colonis, Aleena oversees PV, managing the PV governance and oversight framework, supporting regulatory compliance, and developing our in-house PV capabilities.
Andreea Moldovanu
– Quality Assurance Officer
Andreea joined Colonis in 2023 as our Quality Assurance Officer. With a background supporting Pharmaceutical Quality, she specialises in overseeing the compliance (GMP/GDP) of training and documentation related activities associated with our drug product range across the business. Andreea also supports the vendor management process alongside communications with suppliers, internal and external customers related to quality issues.
Georgia Sullivan – Alliance Manager
Georgia joined Colonis in 2025 as our Alliance Manager. She holds a degree in Biological Sciences and has over three years of pharmaceutical industry experience in commercial operations, strategy and alliance management. She is responsible for the management of Colonis’ international partner network and execution of international product launches.
Henning Thiel – International Business Development Manager
Bringing over 20 years of experience in global business development, licensing, and international market expansion, Henning has led international licensing initiatives and developed EU internationalisation strategies. Based in Germany, Henning focuses on our in-licensing strategy across the UK and EU.
Ipek Gunhan – Marketing Associate
Ipek joins the Colonis team as our Marketing Associate. With a background in pharmaceutical marketing focused on brand management and strategic planning, she has established experience of executing marketing campaigns, coordinating with cross-functional teams and leading KOL engagement.
Melinda Bertwistle – Marketing Manager
With over 30 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, Melinda recently joined Colonis as our Marketing Manager. Melinda brings her marketing and commercial expertise from across the UK and international regions to Colonis.
Patty Efraimidou – Finance and Operations Director
Suzie Stratford – International Business Development Manager
Suzie joined the Colonis team in 2023 as our Alliance and Business Development Manager.
She holds an MA in International Business Management and brings with her four years of pharmaceutical industry experience, having previously focused on licensing deals for value-added and branded generic medicines in a range of therapeutic areas. Suzie is responsible for the management of our international partner network and expanding the Colonis product portfolio into global markets.
